Responsibilities
- Carry out daily routine Mill operating activities, such as operating rod mills, ball mills, leach and CIP circuits
- Operate crushing plant, and related duties
- Become proficient in all areas of mill operations including work in mill reagent handling and housekeeping
- practices
- Strong commitment to working in a safe, socially and environmentally responsible manner
- Identify and report safety hazards and mill optimization opportunities
- Ensure that production targets are met in all areas of responsibility
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 education required
- Minimum of 1 year of milling experience in the mining industry
- Willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
Working Conditions
The work schedule for this position is 14 on, 14 days off, working 12-hour days.
