About the role

The Storekeeper is part of the Procurement team. He/she is responsible for ensuring the receiving, distribution to the clientele and storage of material.

Essential Duties

  • Receive, unload, identify and control material.
  • Store the articles in an orderly manner so that they are easily accessible in the warehouse.
  • Update the registers and an inventory system, using a computerized system.
  • Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly with regard to health and safety.
  • Palletize the material when it leaves the site according to the applicable transportation. standards.
  • Perform all other tasks related to the performance of the duties of the position.

Training & Experience

  • Education relevant to the job, minimum DEC preferred
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years' relevant experience in stock management or logistics
  • Knowledge of SAP system and Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in shipping and transportation management
  • Experience in forklift driving (an asset)
  • Wheel loader operation (an asset).
  • Bilingualism, French and English (an asset)

Working Conditions

  • Schedule: 14 days of work followed by 14 days off.
  • Eleonore Mine Site (fly-in, fly-out)
