Purpose
The relief mechanic is part of the process maintenance department. The incumbent is responsible for the periodic maintenance of fixed equipment. He/she also provides support to the mechanic foreperson.
Essential Duties
- Support the mechanic foreman in his daily tasks
- Ensure the replacement of the mechanic foreperson during his absence
- Ensure that all health and safety procedure are followed et respected
- Develop and implement working procedures
- Be able to conduct safety and goal oriented start of day meetings
- Ensure execution of the work schedule according to the established planning
- Perform the maintenance of fixed equipment so as to optimize their availability and reliability for operations
- All other related tasks
Training & Experience
- College diploma or Professional diploma in fixed mechanic
- Minimum of 10 years’ experiences
- Valid driver’s licence

Working Conditions
- Eleonore mine site (Fly-in, Fly-out)
- Schedule : 14 days of work followed by 14 days off
