Purpose

The Electrician is part of the Mine Maintenance Services Supervision team. He/she is primarily responsible for electrical construction and maintenance work for all mine operations. 

Description

  • Assurer l’installation, la réparation et l’entretien des réseaux de distribution électrique et de communication
  • Entretenir les équipements électriques tel que : ventilateurs, compresseurs, boulonneuses, foreuse à mât, système de pompage, etc.Identifier et résoudre les problèmes de nature électrique
  • Entretenir les treuils en respectant le registre d’inspection de la CSST et les procédures associées
  • Lire et interpréter les schémas électriques et les plans
  • Procéder à l’entretien du système électrique et tenir les registres à jour
  • Compléter des bonds de travail et commander du matériel
  • Respecter et appliquer les procédures de travail, de santé-sécurité, d’environnement et assurer le respect des communautés environnantes
  • Toutes tâches connexes à l’exercice de ses fonctions
  • Horaire : 14 jours de travail suivis par 14 jours de repos

Requirements

  • Vocational studies diploma in  electricity
  • Qualification certificated (C License, hors construction)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical mechanical maintenance in the mining industry
  • Mining modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7
  • Computer skills, knowledge of MS Office Suite, SAP and GMAO
  • Bilingualism (an asset)

Working Conditions

· Schedule: 14 days of work followed by 14 days off

· Eleonore mine site
