Visualisation Engineer

As part of the Global IT Mining Solutions team, you will be responsible for the following;

  • Establish and execute a vision for the delivery of insight and analytics solutions to key stakeholders.
  • Execute the business vision through the development, deployment, and adoption of business intelligence and reporting tools; and the delivery of reporting and analytical solutions to key stakeholders that enable business processes.
  • Manage local and offshore developers and analysts and oversee requirements definition as they relate to information reporting, analysis, and distribution
  • Deliver solutions that meet or exceed these expectations and contribute to setting technology strategy and prioritize technology projects.
  • Create competitive advantages through the strategic use of data mining and reporting and proactively drive creative, cost-effective, strategic enabling processes and system-enabled solutions.

Experience Checklist

  • Significant experience in the computer information field, specifically in data visualisation and analytical/reporting/data applications.
  • Minimum of 10 years eliciting requirements, business goals/opportunities, prioritising, designing and delivering technical solutions with a focus on analytical and reporting applications.
  • Data visualisation solution design and delivery using Tableau.
  • Experienced in using data in large scale data warehouse implementations
  • Analysing and describing data in business or statistical contexts to end users to facilitate understanding of opportunities in business process improvements.
  • Working with and managing onshore and offshore third party service provider(s).
  • Demonstrated experience working within a large organisation with team members located globally.
  • Experience with operational data sets resulting from Mining, processing and asset management business preferred.
  • Experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning data beneficial.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Mathematics, or Data Science or related field.

Proof of current Covid-19 vaccination is required for all Australian based roles as per the WA and NT Government directions.
