About this role

What will you be responsible for?
The Global Mobility Advisor will be a member of the Global Mobility Team and a partner to the Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partner and HR Advisor teams to support the growing population of relocating employees. This individual will provide mentorship and will be responsible for the administration of the US Inbound relocation, US Domestic Relocation, US Domestic assignment and US Immigration programs.

Your role will consist of

Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:
US Inbound and Domestic Relocation:
•Serve as the subject matter specialist and provide day to day support for all US inbound, Domestic relocations and Domestic assignments by being the point of contact for the relocating employee and the relocation provider; coordinating and providing coordination and employee service support throughout the life-cycle of the relocation or assignment process.
•Provide domestic policy and process guidance to internal partners such as the recruiting team, hiring managers, employees and the relocation provider.
•Support the Global Mobility Senior Manager with process improvement initiatives by researching standard methodologies and assisting with capturing benchmark data.
•Maintain and update relocation communication templates, relocation and assignment letters, policy and process documents and tracking spreadsheets on the team share drive.

US Immigration Program:
•Serve as the main point of contact and subject matter expert for the US immigration program. This includes the processing of non-immigrant visa petitions, permanent residency petitions, tracking of visa expiration dates and renewals. Oversight of immigration compliance which includes the tracking of cases and expiration dates, review of immigration forms, audit and maintenance of the immigration files.
•Partner with Sr. Manager, Global Mobility and immigration provider to ensure the immigration policy is up to date and in compliance as well as conduct audits of the immigration files.
•Provide communication to employees regarding changes that USCIS may make that will impact their visa status or processing.
•Proactively track visa deadlines and ensure timely extensions or alternative plans for the employee are made.
•This position will support business travelers and remote workers with visa needs as well.
•Provide the Global Mobility team with project support by providing assistance which may include, research, tracking deadlines, capturing data, maintaining spreadsheets, editing document and sending email communications to employees via the Global Mobility email box.

Training, Skills & Experience

Here is what we would need to see from you!
•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or International Business or equivalent experience
•Bi-lingual in Spanish and English languages preferred.
•Mid-level experience or skillset with HR programs, Immigration or Global mobility preferred.
•Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
•Experience with HRIS systems, data tracking and report analysis.
•Experience with oversight of day to day case management that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and deadline management.
•Proactive planning, executing and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize with agility.
•Strong communication and customer care skills with a focus on empathy and sensitivity to intercultural complexities.
•Ability to communicate in a professional manner and work effectively with all levels of management and leadership.
•Ability to handle highly confidential information and material on a continuous basis in an extremely professional manner.

Working Conditions & Location

Where you will be located!
•The position is located at the corporate office.
•The position will be required to work hours beyond the normal work schedule during periods of peak project related activities.

The salary range offered for this role is $75,700-99,330. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.   

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
