About this role

What will you be responsible for?

  • Ensure the Enablon platform is aligned with RMS design requirements and supporting functional teams in using the Enablon system to capture risk management activities and data. 
  • Responsible for sustainment of the Enablon platform and associated interfaces, and providing ongoing system support to end users, including training. Serves as the main collaborate with IT, the software/platform provider and the outsourced sustainment resource provider. Maintains and improves the system as the need arises, and owns configuration management.

Your role will consist of

Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:

  • Administer and maintain the RMS technology platform (Enablon) which houses risk management data and provide system support.
  • Support functional leaders in updating risk management content in the Enablon system. 
  • Intake user feedback for system improvement and enhancement.  Work with IT to develop an ongoing roadmap for the system. Collaborate closely with the IT teams to ensure the platform remains functional, secure and responsive.  Collaborate with end-users and developers to update the system
  • Collate offline updated risk and controls data from functional leaders for upload during the RMS implementation period during 2021.  Work with functional teams to leverage Enablon a tool for risk management activity.
  • Design and implement system changes in collaboration with IT to improve risk management processes.
  • Develop end-user Enablon training materials in written, recorded or animated formats and deliver initial and ongoing training to end users.
  • Accessing data from dashboards and development of reporting dashboards in Enablon, Tableau or other tools, using the data stored in Enablon.
  • Promoting standardization in Enablon and across modules
  • Data migration and setup.  Ensure platform and interfaces are fully operational
  • Own configuration management for any changes or maintenance required to the system
  • Manage the nearshore/offshore outsourced team to ensure that end user issues and requests are actioned in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Collaborate closely with Enablon, IT and Arcadis to ensure the company is up to date on future releases, vital patches and new functionality coming.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT, with related business experience
  • Post graduate studies, if needed.


  • Around 5 years of experience in risk management or risk management systems
  • Extensive experience with risk management software (e.g. Enablon)
  • Prior experience in writing corporate documents and standards
  • Experience in managing large global software systems

Working conditions and location

Where you will be located!

  • The position is located in the Denver corporate office.

The salary range offered for this role is $75,700 to 99,300. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.   

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
