About this role
What will you be responsible for?
Assume responsibility for tasks without requiring direct supervision in performing a broad range of administrative duties for three Group Heads, requiring knowledge of Company policies and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:
- Ability to work independently, exercising initiative, discretion and judgment and make appropriate decisions within the scope of assigned responsibility.
- Receive and screen telephone calls and visitors and assist with incoming inquiries, using knowledge of Company policies and procedures.
- Resolve issues requiring knowledge of Company policies and procedures and ongoing projects.
- Serve as a liaison between executive, direct reports, and business associates.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and conferences, including external vendor contact.
- Compose correspondence, edit documents, generate reports, and take and transcribe minutes of meetings as necessary.
- Handle confidential and time sensitive material with tact and discretion.
- Research, compile and prepare data for administrative reports and presentations.
- Prepare presentations and reports for meetings, which may include setup of A/V equipment.
- Extensive domestic and international travel and expense reports.
- Generate requests for payment and code and enter data.
- Complex project coordination and assignments as requested.
- Receive and review all mail and screen phone calls, determining what needs to be brought to the attention of the executive.
- With advanced knowledge of filing systems, create, maintain and update department files, records and publications.
- Perform copying, collating, binding, packaging, etc., and disseminate routine and other documents as requested by department personnel including mail/messenger/meeting preparations.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Office professionalism required.

Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years executive/administrative assistant experience or equivalent combination of training and experience are necessary.
- A minimum of 2-3 years working for a top level executive.
Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of office equipment.

The salary range offered for this role is $28.77 to 34.16. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
