Boddington is one of the largest gold producers in Australia and is located approximately 130 kilometres from the Perth CBD. 

 

Our Service Technicians are an essential part of our Mine Maintenance team and are responsible for the servicing and associated tasks that support our Heavy Mobile Equipment Fleet comprising CAT Ancillary Equipment and Autonomous 793F Trucks.   

 

You will rotate between operating a 777 Service Truck in the Autonomous Operating Zone (AOZ) or working in our enclosed 8 Bay fully enclosed workshop and attending the Heavy Vehicle Fuel Bay to perform refueling duties. 

 

About you

  • Experience operating a Caterpillar 773/777 size service vehicle.
  • A C class manual driver’s licence.
  • Caterpillar SIS experience, SAP and basic computer skills.
  • A current MR Class Driver’s Licence, any High-Risk Licences.
  • Senior First Aid certificate will be highly regarded. 
  • Complete your tasks with integrity through quality and effective work.
  • A focus on continually looking to improve the way we do things.
  • Able to maximise the use of time allocated for scheduled maintenance activities.
  • A commitment to safety, ensuring yourself and your team stay safe. 
  • Be a positive and proactive communicator.
  • Have an optimistic and positive outlook towards your work.
  • A willingness to contribute to maintaining a collaborative and engaged team.
  • We encourage applications from individuals with a mechanical background including LV Mechanics as an entry into the mining industry.

 

Working Conditions and Location 

  • We are only 130kms from the Perth CBD and approximately 100kms from the coast.  
  • Live locally and go home every single day or stay in our Village for your roster and DIDO. 
  • Work a 7:7 days/nights roster (7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off) – a good work/life balance.
