Process Maintenance Supervisor

You have the option to live locally and go home each day as accommodation in Boddington is provided for the successful candidate. We also provide DIDO with accommodation in our Village if  this option is preferred. This position comes with an 8:6:7:7 family friendly roster.

 We currently have two vacancies for Process Maintenance Supervisors. One role each in the Wet Plant and Dry Plant.

The Role:

 

Managing a team of Newmont staff along with business partners and specialists, you will ensure all maintenance work is completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner.  Your excellent planning abilities will maximise the amount of scheduled maintenance and reduce the impact of unscheduled works. 

 

You will be directly responsible for a variety of areas including: 

  • Wet screening
  • Milling
  • Flotation
  • Thickening
  • Filtering
  • Reagents
  • Carbon in leach circuit
  • Carbon regeneration
  • Elution
  • Residue disposal
  • Water Services
  • Primary & secondary crushers
  • Apron feeders
  • Conveyors, shuttles & feed bins

Skills and Experience:

 

You will hold a relevant mechanical trade qualification with at least 10 years experience in a mining maintenance supervisory role that includes complex processing or heavy industrial plant experience.  You will have a demonstrated understanding of maintenance work management processes utilising a CMMS system.   You will be a collaborator and have the ability to work with planning teams and support other departments where necessary such as supply chain, HSLP and finance.  Your strong communication skills will ensure that you are able to deal with a variety of people across various issues and challenges as they arise.  Your highly developed sense of safety and environment are essential to this role as is the energy and motivation you will bring to it.
