The Environmental Technician is a member of the Environmental Operations Team and will assist the Environmental Advisors in the coordination and implementation of environmental management programs at the Boddington Gold Mine. You will actively support and apply the company’s continuous improvement principles and Environmental Policy to the environmental management programs you are assisting with. 


About you

Ideally you will have knowledge of environmental monitoring best practice, sampling techniques, standards, statutory environmental obligations, processes and systems.


You will be someone who is flexible in their approach and work routines and able to work effectively in a small team or individually. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Boddington Gold Mine is located in the SW region of WA and experiences diverse seasonal weather patterns with hot summers and wet and cold winters. An ability to work outdoors in all-weather conditions is required. A Current Drivers Licence and ability to drive a manual 4WD vehicle is essential.


This is a 2 year fixed term position and shortlisting will commence immediately.
