What you will be responsible for:

 

The Senior Talent Sourcer partners with business leaders to understand talent needs to develop and deliver sourcing strategies that attract key talent to the organization with the focus on proactive hiring, diversity and inclusion, and crafting innovative ways to engage passive candidates. Acts as a bridge between the company and the candidates, developing relationships with industry leaders and candidates across multiple geographies.

Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:

 

  • Serve as the subject matter authority on Newmont's sourcing processes and champions changes in process or philosophy.
  • Lead the process of creating and implementing a sourcing strategy to develop talent pipelines to fill current needs, as well as building a pipeline for future opportunities of qualified talent communities, for unique, competitive, or challenging roles.
  • Cultivate partnerships with Newmont’s teams including inclusion and diversity, people analytics, HR Business Partners, Corporate, Site and Regional HR, global business leaders and Talent Acquisition, as well as, external staffing partners, diversity organizations and pipeline channels to optimize efficiency, considering the full end-to-end recruiting lifecycle.
  • We collaborate with and provide support for talent acquisition managers and recruiters to identify top talent, maintain clear understanding of all current and potential openings, delivering the quality and quantity of candidates to support open or anticipated requisitions, and by completing desired sourcing strategy.
  • Train and develop other team members on effective sourcing methods, and mentor and guide managers on maintaining relationships with passive candidates.
  • Effectively communicate opportunities and company’s value proposition to all prospective candidates ensuring an engaging candidate experience. Lead talent pool activity and share data-centric updates with recruiters for broader communication with internal partners.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the talent landscape for roles; build a competitive intelligence knowledge base of companies and candidates residing within those companies, and crowd-source potential candidates.
  • Perform daily duties such as job posting creation, social media network administration and maintenance, and building a robust database for current and future hires for critical roles.

Here is what we would love to see from you!

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum 6+ years of recruiting related experience; talent sourcing experience gained in agency and/or professional services environment, including a confirmed history of researching, identifying, and building quality talent pipelines.
  • Drive sourcing capability and delivery to proactively build and maintain a network of inclusive candidate pools, using all available talent channels, including partnerships with associations, alumni groups and organizations producing sourcing funnels and using data to optimize representation at each stage of the recruiting process.
  • Partner closely with internal team members to develop strong pipelines of diverse and qualified candidate pools through outreach, social media, marketing, events, partnerships and referrals.
  • Experience running multiple searches with competing demands through strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management and candidates at all organizational levels, as well as external vendors and partners.
  • Proficiency in an Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Success Factors Recruiting) and solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Fluent English is required. Additional language expertise in French or Spanish is a plus. Bonus points for proven cultural awareness and a global mentality. Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form.

Working Conditions and where you will be located:

 

  • Position is located in the Denver corporate office with a hybrid schedule of remote and onsite work. Will consider remote locations with periodic travel to the Denver office
  • Ability to support multiple time zones across Newmont locations
  • May be required to travel to and assist other domestic and international sites

The salary range offered for this role is $85,520 - $112,245. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.   

 

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
