About this role

What will you be responsible for?
The Specialist, HR Integration and Systems draws on their expertise as technical subject matter expert to provide global support for HR processes and supporting applications and data. This position is responsible for establishing day-to-day support for HR team members in their use of the Global HR systems, primarily SAP and the SuccessFactors suite.
Key outcomes include:

  • Quality and timely support and administration from a HR business and procedure standpoint for the CORE (SuccessFactors) system.
  • Provision of subject matter expertise on SuccessFactors modules and HR systems.
  • Effective CORE access, governance, documentation and communication.
  • Support for HR technology roadmap and continuous improvement projects and initiatives in a variety of roles.

In this role you will

Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:
Subject Matter Expertise and support

  • We provide support and administration from a configuration and procedure standpoint for CORE modules (RCM, ONB, Compensation, Succession, etc.).
  • We provide subject matter expertise for business users on SuccessFactors as an input to HR and non-HR initiatives.
  • We identify and troubleshoot HR data issues, and coordinate with IT, HR and regional teams to facilitate resolution.

Communication and training

  • We create and maintain forms, notifications, picklists, etc. within CORE.
  • We develop and maintain CORE EnableNow, Job Aids and tutorials.
  • We stay ahead of CORE SuccessFactors developments to contribute to the development of the HR technology roadmap.
  • We build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across HR.
  • We develop and deliver training on new and changed functionality to business Center of Expertise leads and teams.

Documentation and governance

  • We maintain the Discovery site for HR Integration and Systems, including process maps, training tools, standards, etc.
  • We maintain configuration workbooks with system changes.
  • We support the definition and maintenance of documentation of levels of systems access and user profiles.

Projects and partnership

  • We support HR global business systems technology roadmap projects and initiatives.
  • We support development of ad hoc reporting in CORE.
  • We work closely with HR and business users to identify and progress improvement opportunities from a systems perspective.

Your training, skills, & experience checklist

Here is what we would need to see from you!

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, IT or related field. 
  • High level of knowledge of human resources processes.
  • Expertise in the use and administration of the SAP SuccessFactors modules and functionality is required.


  • Minimum 5 years of relevant human resources experience.
  • Experience working in teams with system implementation and business professionals.
  • Ability to build understanding and develop processes and data governance.
  • Must have experience with computer-based human resources systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external partners and experience with continuous improvement programs. 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid ability to investigate and analyze organizational needs.
  • Demonstrated strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including the ability to efficiently utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio).
  • Strong customer focus and customer management skills.
  • Influencing skills is recommended and ability to engage management. 

Working conditions & location

Where you will be located!

  • The position is located in the Denver corporate office, a regional office or aligned with Newmont’s remote work policy.
  • Position may be required to travel to, and assist other domestic and international sites.

The salary range offered for this role is $93,585 - 115,605. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.   

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
