Mill Foreperson, Process Operations - CC&V

Newmont is looking for a Mill Foreperson to assume responsibility for safe operation of the Milling facility by directing and controlling activities of milling, tailings disposal to ensure heap leach efficiency.

Essential Duties
  • Direct and manage daily crew activity to achieve safe, efficient and optimal production.
  • Effectively interface with other departments and contractors in pursuit of production goals.
  • Pursue opportunities of continuous improvement including participation on continuous improvement teams.
  • Motivate, coach and develop employees to achieve production goals.
  • Implement and hold accountable the crews adherence and support of Safety and Environmental programs and associated policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with others to effectively implement change management and recognize best practices.
  • Ensure compliance to all company policies and procedures.
  • Lead and mentor with the Newmont visions and values as the foundation for decision making.
  • Ensure all reporting is accurately completed in a timely manner.(Safety, CPI's, Environmental, daily shift log, HR and crew communications)

Training & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in metallurgy or relevant field and minimum three (3) years experience OR eight (8) years related experience.
  • Proven leadership skills desired.
