About this role

What will you be responsible for?

As the Full Potential Program Manager at CC&V, your role is pivotal in driving innovation, efficiency, and growth within our organization. You will be responsible for a range of exciting initiatives aimed at unlocking our full potential.

  • Initiate and Lead Transformational Initiatives: You will drive the identification, diagnosis, design, implementation, tracking, and closure of initiatives that add value to our business, enhance efficiency, and keep us competitive in the market.
  • Empower and Inspire: Provide training, mentoring, and support to our employees in business improvement and project management practices, empowering them to elevate their department and function's performance.

Your role will consist of

Here is a snapshot of what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Strategic Leadership: Initiate, coordinate, and lead various aspects of our Full Potential program, including Full Potential Refresh, TCO External Spend, OT&BI, Rapid Replication, and Productivity Tables.
  • Mentorship: Offer guidance and mentorship to initiative leads on utilizing project tracking and reporting tools effectively.
  • Support Business Planning: Collaborate on-site business planning processes to drive growth and efficiency.
  • Facilitate the improvement systems for site, inclusive of enabling front line identified improvement ideas as well as project managing top down strategic initiatives.
  • Spend time in the field with front line employees to actively listen and understand issues with systems and processes that prohibit their performance outcomes. 
  • Understand and identify bottleneck processes within the site value driver tree and prioritize strategic initiatives around those bottleneck processes which are needle movers for the overall business performance. 
  • Cost and Efficiency Insights: Provide valuable insights on cost and efficiency to the site management team, contributing to informed decision-making.

You Training, Skills & Experience

  • Educational Background: Possess a bachelor's degree and/or an unwavering passion for collaborative teamwork, dedicated to igniting improvement and exploring innovative approaches to enhance our workflow. Demonstrate a flair for thinking beyond conventional boundaries and harnessing creative technology solutions to drive progress.
  • Project Management Acumen: Demonstrated understanding of project management and continuous improvement methodologies.
  •  Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proven interpersonal skills to connect effectively with both business and technical colleagues.
  •  Mining Experience: 5-10 years of combined experience in a mining environment.
  •  Facilitation Skills: Proficiency in facilitating and coordinating meetings and workshops for small and large groups, with strong process facilitation and presentation abilities.
  •  Change Management: Experience in managing change, including partner management.
  •  Leadership Skills: Previous leadership (supervisory) experience and a proven ability to achieve results through others.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in preparing presentations and reports, with a strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.

The salary range offered for this role is $134,240- 159,410. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.  

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance. This role also will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards based on their level and individual performance.
