In This Role You Will
As an essential member of your team you are responsible for the servicing, in-pit refueling and associated tasks that support our Heavy Mobile Equipment Fleet. You will carry out your work with integrity through quality and effective work, in a safe and efficient manner.
You are committed to maximising the amount of scheduled maintenance and minimising the impact of unscheduled maintenance and strive to continually improve the way we do things. Your strong communication skills will see you succeed in your role.
You will always demonstrate your commitment to safety and use your experience and judgement to ensure yourself and your workmates stay safe. If you set good examples of work ethic and dedication and have a positive mind set in dealing with work and people, you are encouraged to apply.
Your Training, Skills & Experience Checklist
- Experience in a mining open pit and workshop environment servicing Caterpillar equipment.
- Experience operating a Caterpillar 773/777 size service vehicle.
- A C class manual driver’s licence.
- Caterpillar SIS experience and basic computer skills.
- A current MR Class Driver’s Licence, any High Risk Licences, SAP experience, and a Senior First Aid certificate will be highly regarded.
Working Conditions and Location
- We are only 130kms from the Perth CBD and approximately 100kms from the coast.
- Live locally and go home every single day or stay in our Village for your roster and DIDO.
- Work a 7:7 days/nights roster (7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off)– a good work/life balance.
