We are currently recruiting for an ‘Parts Interpreter ad Stores Officer’ who will report directly into the Mine Maintenance Fabrication Supervisor, this role is being offered on a 8:6 roster.

The position is responsible for the Management of the Fabrication tool store, Ground Engaging Tools (PM) servicing, refuelling and associated tasks to support the Heavy Mobile Loading Fleet.  The position is required to ensure maintenance activities are completed in a safe, efficient and effective manner, maximising the amount of scheduled maintenance and minimising the impact of unscheduled works through quality and effective workmanship.

 

The role:

  • Identify and coordinate resources required to complete tooling maintenance works
  • Ensure all electrical, lifting and working at height equipment are tagged and ready for inspection
  • Organise the repair of workshop equipment through external agents by raising SAP requisitions, creating dispatch requests and making the equipment ready for safe transportation and delivery to relevant warehouse dispatch points.
  • Complete daily work orders with supporting comments, drawings or photographs as required.
  • Following the GET workflow diagram
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area both during and after completing a task
  • Ensure housekeeping of the tool store and GET yard meets NBG standards, using 5S to reduce waste and maximise storage.
  • Contribute to the organisational culture through performing work duties and interacting with others in accordance with the Newmont Values.

 

About you:

  • C-Class drivers licence
  • High Risk licence Forklift/ Telehandler ticket
  • Intermediate computer skills Microsoft Word/ Excel
  • SAP
  • Experience in an workshop environment
  • Trade background
