Mobile Maintenance Supervisor

What you will be doing

Reporting to the Superintendent – Mine Maintenance Hauling & Ancillary, you will be responsible for supervising, training and developing a diverse team comprising of trades and service personnel, trade assistants and apprentices. You will engage and develop your team, providing task assignments, managing and prioritising workloads whilst maintaining a safe, effective and harmonious workplace, assisting us to safely achieve our ex-pit production targets through high equipment availability.

 

Who you are

Your Trade qualification coupled with significant post trade experience and proven maintenance supervisory experience in a large heavy mobile equipment environment will be essential to successfully meeting the requirements for this position.  

 

You will have a thorough understanding of maintenance work management processes, experience in utilising a CMMS system (SAP preferred) and the ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously. Your interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to effectively engage with personnel across mine maintenance, mine operations and other departments across site.  

 

You will be capable of setting consistent and clear expectations, providing on the job monitoring, resolution of resourcing challenges and short term trouble shooting of issues on a daily basis.  You will be a leader who acts in a manner which demonstrates Newmont’s values and positively impacts the operations safety culture.
