About You   

As part of our Shovel and Excavator Maintenance Team, you will be a trade qualified Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic or equivalent, with experience maintaining and servicing Caterpillar 7495 rope shovels and Caterpillar 6090 and 6040 hydraulic excavators. You will have a C class manual driver’s licence and basic computer skills.     

 

Your multiskilling in the areas of fault finding and diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance services, and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and 24V auto electrical as well as CAT SIS and ET experience are essential.  

 

You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to safety and use your experience and judgement to ensure yourself and your workmates stay safe.  Your ability to set good examples of work ethic and integrity together with your positive mind set in dealing with work and people will be highly regarded.
