Our Opportunity

Join us as a Condition Monitoring Technician responsible for overseeing and reporting on the condition of critical fixed plant equipment at our Boddington site. You'll play a pivotal role in our predictive maintenance strategy, supporting Production and Maintenance teams with your technical expertise to ensure reliable operation of essential equipment.

 

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Effectively and accurately carrying out routine condition monitoring tasks such as Vibration Analysis, Oil analysis, thermographs, UT and other Condition Monitoring Techniques.
  • Carrying out analysis on all data collected to diagnose machinery problems and recommend necessary actions according to industry best practice.
  • Reporting of significant changes in equipment condition and providing timely reports for key stakeholders. 
  • Propose improvements to enhance equipment reliability and availability, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining and monitoring the Critical Equipment Watch List.  
  • Ensuring all work adheres to safe procedures; contribute to developing new procedures as needed.

About You

You will bring experience in condition monitoring in a heavy industry plant environment along with a trade certification.

 

Other complementary skills include

  • Proficiency in lubrication and condition monitoring techniques
  • Ability to interpret technical data and provide advice to maintenance teams
  • Vibration Training – ISO Level 2 (ISO Certification 18436-2:2003)
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar maintenance management systems
