What you will be doing

Reporting to the Supervisor – Mine Maintenance Welding & Fabrication, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the sites mobile maintenance fleet of equipment to the expected standards; including but not limited to:

  • Cat 7495 Electric Rope Shovels
  • Cat 793 Trucks
  • Cat 6060 and 6030 Hydraulic diggers
  • Cat 994 Loaders
  • Cat Dozers

 

Who you are

Your Boilermaker Welder trade qualification and significant post trade experience in a large heavy mobile equipment environment specific to bucket, tray, electric rope shovel dippers and blade repair activities is essential.  You will have experience with large mobile mining equipment, ground engaging tools and magnetic particle testing.

As a minimum you will have the ability to pass AS1554.4 with inner shield wire. 

You will have the following tickets/licences:-

  • HR Drivers Licence
  • High Risk Forklift
  • EWP
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Spaces
  • Dogging / Rigging

A thorough understanding of maintenance work management processes and your experience utilising a CMMS system (SAP preferred) as well as good verbal and written communication skills are key in the role.

You will demonstrate your commitment to safety and use your experience and judgement to ensure yourself and your workmates stay safe. 

Your ability to set good examples of work ethic and integrity together with your positive mind set in dealing with work and people will be highly regarded.
