Autonomous Mining Technician

The role

This newly created role, will see you raise the understanding and knowledge of AHS operations within the Mining Operations teams and maintain a hands on component working as an Heavy Equipment Operator on your crew when required.  

 

You will have significant operational experience in an autonomous hauling environment, excellent organisational and communication skills.

 

You will be someone who is looking to expand their career imparting their knowledge and experience in an active operational coaching role.

 

Your skills checklist:

  • Significant experience working in an Autonomous Operation is essential.
  • Extensive experience operating various heavy equipment in an autonomous operation.
  • MineStar Command experience.
  • Proficient in writing and reviewing mining operational procedures
  • Ability to prioritise and manage shifting priorities
  • Approachable and results oriented
  • Highly developed written and verbal communications
  • Previous experience in a high tonnage open pit operation
