You will be providing administrative support to a large department and as such, the role requires previous experience within a secretarial/administrative role, excellent interpersonal skills, sound communication and proficiency and accurate typing skills. Ideally you will have experience with a wide range of computer programs. Previous experience with SAP would be considered an advantage. Your ability to multitask and effectively prioritise your workload while maintaining good working relationships and effective communication will be the key to your success in the role.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing and co-ordinating administrative support services to Process, Mining and Support Services Departments.
  • Maintain Statutory Requirements & Appointments
  • Provide site support with DMIRS Safety Regulation System
  • Manage and maintain purpose designed database systems
  • Assist department employees with administrative requirements
  • Co-ordinate site entries for visitors, consultants and contractors
  • Management of the Process Administration Building including supplies, maintenance requests & meeting rooms.
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees
  • Arrange travel & accommodation
  • Manage company credit cards
  • Assist with the organisation of Newmont events
